Try using this. It's a little app i wrote to write reg files for the VNC pass. You will want to make a machine specific password. You'll have to restart the service after you merge the reg file.

Subsequent attempts to disbale and then run in 'App' mode succeed but only to reinstate the service. I just cannot get to the admin tools to set a password.
