I would first try to reinstall the service. Goto the command prompt and
type the fully glorified path to the service with a -service switch such as:

"C:\Program Files\ORL\VNC\WinVNC.exe" -service

Then check the service to see if it will start.

If that dosen't work, try checking the registry key:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\winvnc\ImagePath

Verify that the path is valid.

Subject: Windows 2000 Machines

I have been trying to get VNC to work on my Window 2000 stations. I can get
it loaded but it will not run as a service. I get the following message
The VNCserver service failed to start due to following error, they system
cannot find the path. All my 98 machines work great. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
