I just want to be sure here. You say that you can't paste text either from the winvnc server to vncviewer or back? Are you relying on the paste to server option? If you are at all familiar with windows, then you know that copy is CTRL+c and paste is CTRL+v.
I have just tried this, from viewer to server, and from server to viewer. Works no problem for me. Hey, I also tried this with a Solaris vnc server. No Prob. But do note that this will only copy and paste text, nothing binary. (What I did, Open the viewer and connected to the server. Opened notepad on both server and client. Entered some text on the client notepad copied the text with CTRL+c (highlight then press CTRL+c), switched to the server notepad and pasted the text with CTRL+v. I then typed more text into the server notepad and copied with CTRL+c, switched to the client notepad and used CTRL+v to paste the new text. Note that I have the viewer opened to the server during this process.)
