Has anyone tried to run the virus cleaner in McAfee to see if it cleans off VNC because it's classified as a Trojan? If it does clean it off, does it do it automatically (assuming you have McAfee set to 'autoclean' viruses) or does it at least prompt asking if you want to remove it?
