hi,
I try to use vncviewer from linux1 to access linux2 running vncserver
through ssh forwarding. This is what I do:

linux2> vncserver
......

linux1> ssh -L 5901:linux2:5901 linux2
linux1> vncviewer localhost:1
......

then I am prompted for the vnc password, but after the authentication I
only see a white window with a dot for the mouse on linux1. The following
is the log message on linux2:

01/04/02 21:08:09 Got connection from client 127.0.0.1

Did anyone experienced the same problem and have fixed it?
