<commercial-mode> If you happen to run some Compaq servers, have a look at the Remote Management http://www.compaq.com/manage/remotemgmt.html boards. I happen to work with the Remote Insight Board (http://www.compaq.com/manage/remote-lightsout.html). It provides something similar as VNC does. Some of the advantages are a remote floppy and a remote reset button. If it has external power, it has even a remote power button. The major disadvantage is the horrible performance, specially compared to VNC ;-) <\commercial-mode>
