I have written some code in Java that would allow a vncclient to tunnel
through a firewall and connect to a vncserver. The code is currently at
a temporary http address:

http://24.91.182.203:8080/vnc_tunnel/index.html.;

This package will allow a VNC client to communicate with a VNC
server located behind a firewall. These classes will provide a tunnel
through a server located outside the firewall. Both the server and
client must connect their respective vncviewer/vncserver to this
tunnel using the classes provided here. The tunnel between the
vncclient and the vncserver is both encrypted and uses compression to
increase speed (server to client only). The average compression has
been known to compress 50-66% of the data sent across the network.

I'd be interested in any feedback this group can offer, regarding best
encryption to use, best way to compress data, security concerns, etc.
