I work for a local government agency that has a mix of x86 Linux, Sparc Solaris, and DEC servers. One of the DEC machines is an Alpha 5/333 running Redhat Linux. As there did not seem to be an Alpha/Redhat port, just an Alpha port for the True 64 or some other unix, I d/l'd the Unix source code and tried it.
It compiled without any problems and I was able to install it. I now have VNC working on the Alpha box. I can connect to it from either my Linux workstation or one of the windoze boxes. Anyway, I just wanted to let the list know that the code works without a problem on this platform. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
