I've been meaning to try adding Java elements. My primary limitation
there is not knowing much about Java (of course I didn't know much about
scripting, ActiveX, or HTML a few weeks ago, either). Even though you
have to download support separately for XP, Java is so ubiquitous that
everyone gets it. There's also a payoff in that Microsoft hasn't been
driving the development of Java, so the applets tend to be lightweight,
compact, and phenomenally powerful for their size.

That's one of the reasons I am interested in what you come up with for
the SSH integration; I want to turn this into an easily "pluggable"
tool, and if I can find a way to provide hands-off SSH support it opens
up for a lot of other uses.

: There are open source Java solutions available for these functions.
