Hi, Not being a linux guru (yet), I am not fully conversant with what you are saying. If you could rephrase it for the page, then I will be happy to put it up. Also, if you know of ways to get exactly the same thing working with other distro's and versions of linux, that would be appreciated. I think I understand what you are saying, but knowing me, I wouldn't write it in an easily understandable way. I nothing comes forward, then I will have a go at writing it.
I have had someone come to me already for a similar working solution on Solaris. can anyone provide me with this? I have got an Oregon Scientific Osaris PDA. I don't have any network card or anything special, apart from the RS232 or Infra Red. Is there a way to use VNC (client or Server) on this? (The OS is epoc). Slightly off topic, but I will probably need to do it, I would like to use the PDAs terminal program to connect to my Linux box using the RS232. I saw the answer to this in a computer magazine, but don't know where it is. Can anyone email me privately with that one? This would be another tip for my site. Regards.
