Hi. I've got one small problem with VNC - one application, which displays text as expected in its menus and buttons on my regular X server, shows only 'squares' instead of the text when I run the application under the vnc viewer. An outline of a square is substituted for where every character should be in menu or button/label text.
I've checked with 'xset' that the VNC X server has all the font paths that my regular X server has, after which I've come to the end of my X expertise. No errors are logged to the vnc log. I'm running vnc_x86_linux_2.0 under Linux 2.4.16 with XFree86 4.1.99. The one application which is exhibiting this behaviour is XAudio, version 1.3.1. Any pointers on what would cause this behaviour?
