Glenn, Thanks for your response. Also, the question has been answered to my satisfaction.
For the record, let me explain what I was trying to accomplish. I added the AllowLoopback value to the registry so that I could test configuration settings i.e., AllowProperties which I believe disables changing properties remotely. I wanted to do this from my machine, via the loopback mechanism, since I don't have another local machine.
