>I would really like to know if anyone else has had strange problems >with VNC viewers under OSX.
I have tried both clients under MacOS X (on a G3), and the OS X clients were always slower than the AT&T client running in Classic. Somewhere I read that this is due to the Quarz deficiences in MacOS. I quit using them because I didn't have the patience to wait for the screen updates after mouseclicks, and all of my following keys and clicks would do something I didn't want at all.I don't have a lot of issues with stability of the AT&T classic client. The two biggest ones I have is that the key sends get screwed up if I run any Java applet when the VNC client is open, and the solution is just to restart the client. But here's where the second problem comes up: often I can't reconnect to the server. Other than that the AT&T client is pretty stable for me - runs for days with no glitches, and no perceivable delays. So I just fire up Classic and use the AT&T client.
