Well it seems a 2nd try at a compile works so sorry about the prevous post to the group..
However i get the same problem lots of you seem to have, inetd method provides just a grey desktop, no login screen. On console i get a KDE login.. so i assume chooser is running? Could it be SSH related? Plus is it still accssable via http when you use inetd start?
