You could try installing the vnc-server RPM (which is the one
requiring bash >= 2) with --nodeps, since I don't _think_ that the
installed scripts have any real bash 2.0 dependencies.  Then again I
don't think I was maintaining those packages when the dependency was
put in and the changelog doesn't say anything about it, so things
might break. (If they do, revert with -Uvh
vnc-server-... --oldpackage).
