Well, I believe the concept is this: (I've read the site through about a
dozen times):

1) someone wrote a replacement for gina.dll (the logon mechanism), so that a
plain old WinNT/Win2k setup can handle multiple simultaneous logons

2) the page's author did a custom port of Xvnc (the unix vnc server) to
windows, so that VNC can physically handle more than 1 display (Winvnc
handles only the current display)

3) the author makes use of rsh on NT to actually initiate another display,
so it's actually a semi-manual process as far as I can tell

So, I don't believe it actually needs WTS or Metaframe. If you want a
WTS-to-VNC gateway, you need something like rdp2vnc which you'll have to
search the archives for a proper link.

Of course, I could be wrong...

Would someone out there elaborate a little on
http://services.simac.be/vnc/gina.html, please? It sounds intriguing, but
it's not obvious a) where one starts from or b) where one winds up.

You have to have either 1) Windows NT Server Terminal Server Edition or 2)
Windows 2000 with Terminal Services enabled for it to be of any use, right?
It won't turn a plain vanilla Windows NT Workstation or Server or a Windows
2000 Professional into a multi-user machine, will it?

Having one of those (NTS-TSE or W2K w/ TS) and installing the stuff at
http://services.simac.be/vnc/gina.html then gives you a Terminal Server
Client session on an X station, right?

Is the net benefit that you are no longer limited to Microsoft stations when
you want Terminal Services but are unwilling or unable to spring for Citrix
Winframe / Metaframe?
