Hi Rehl,

I have had problems like this too.  How I solved them is to uninstall vnc,
delete all registry values I could find, reboot, reinstall, merge registry
values, install service, and the most important part:

go to services and start the newly installed service and then it will ask
for a password.  I do this every time I install vnc to make sure I set the
password for the service part of vnc.

If this is not your problem, I would go to the services properties and make
sure it is set to automatic, on a local system account interacting with the
desktop, and set the 1st 2 recovery options to restart.
