Hi,

Here i have some question about the futurs upgrade of WinVNC versions ?
Today we used the 3.3.3R9 version, but tomorrow ????
I know that it is not possible to upgrade WinVNC while it is running, so
have you a solution to upgrade WinVNC simply even if the shutdown/close
application is disabled in the registry with Allowshutdown=0 and
Allowproperties=0 ?
We would like to do that with security and we would like the users can't
stop WinVNC and can't access properties too so properties are also disabled
because we have set an unique password over our site for used by hotline
users.

Have you a solution to upgrade WinVNC in this configuration or perhaps not
and perhaps we must write an upgrade with:
1- Winvnc -remove
2- at next reboot of windows98 workstation with winvnc autostart disable
3- copy new winvnc files for upgrade during logonscript
4- Winvnc -install version after next reboot of Windows98 workstation

Or is it possible to do that in one line like (even if shutdown/close vnc
disable ?):
Winvnc_new -remove -install

Thanks,

JP
