I've sifted through the docs and the mailing lists but can't seem to get this resolved: Font directory '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/' not found - ignoring AUDIT: Tue Jul 17 14:11:38 2001: 4413 Xvnc: client 1 rejected from local host Xlib: connection to ":13.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server Warning: This program is an suid-root program or is being run by the root user. You may get a more descriptive message by running the program as a non-root user or by removing the suid bit on the executable. xterm Xt error: Can't open display: %s AUDIT: Tue Jul 17 14:11:38 2001: 4413 Xvnc: client 1 rejected from local host Xlib: connection to ":13.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server /usr/X11R6/bin/twm: unable to open display ":13" Every time I start vncserver that's the message I get. When I try to connect using a browser or vncconnect I get the gray desktop with the black cursor. I've changed my destop (I'm running RH Linux 7.0) to sawfish, to twm---same error. I checked the FAQ (16) and tried it---same thing. Any ideas? Thanks Daniel A.
