I did notice, though, that when it disconnects you can get right back into
it by firing the Viewer again. Depending on your bandwidth and your
willingness, this may not be an issue for some people. For example, the NT4
Server I have behind me has separate resolutions for myself and
"Administrator". I rarely VNC over to it, so when I do, I can just deal
with the drop and reconnect. =P
I'm just lazy, that's all.

Yes that would figure - resolution changes do terminate the remote
session, and the screen-locking resolution (as well as start-up and
shut-down messages) in NT are all set to the Local Administrators
resolution. As long as users and the local Administrator account
have
the same resolution settings the remote session will remain active
when
the screen is locked... hmmm bit of a pain when u have multiple
users /
multiple resolution settings that may all require support...
