Yes that would figure - resolution changes do terminate the remote
session, and the screen-locking resolution (as well as start-up and
shut-down messages) in NT are all set to the Local Administrators
resolution. As long as users and the local Administrator account have
the same resolution settings the remote session will remain active when
the screen is locked... hmmm bit of a pain when u have multiple users /
multiple resolution settings that may all require support...

I've had some issues like that before, and the problem I've noticed was
that
NT would change resolutions when locking the screen. In my case, the
lock
screen (and login screen) was at 800x600, and when my users would log
in,
their resolution was 1024x768. When the resolution changes like that,
VNC
closes its session.
If I remember correctly, I was able to fix the problem by logging in as
"Administrator" and changing the resolution to match the user's.

My server pc is NT and client is running on Win2000. When screen
saver with
password protection gets activated, the connection to the client
gets lost.
Also, client cannot be again connected to the NT server unless
it is
unlocked.
Is this an expected behaviour ? Is there someway I can keep the

active even if the server screen gets locked by the screen saver
?
