Good call, I went to the ORL directory and set the rights so that System had
full control. I was then able to start VNC as a service again. Strange I've
never had to manually do this before with VNC but now I feel better about
patching the rest of my servers. I would hate to lose the control VNC has
allowed me.

Have you tried running "winvnc -remove" and then "winvnc -install" to
correct the service registry settings.
Access Denied suggests that you don't have access rights to the Service
Control Manager, but this seems odd.
Are you sure that the VNC install directory is Full Controllable by the
SYSTEM account? (Note that Administrators group is NOT the same as
SYSTEM, nor is SYSTEM a part of it.)
