VNC 3.3.3r9 server is running as a service on a Windows 2000 SP1 server. The
VNC service is set to start automatically. I am able to successfully connect
with vncviewer at first. When I reboot the server remotely using vncviewer,
it successfully reboots, but further attempts to connect with vncviewer
result in the error message "VNC Authentication Failed." After logging on
locally at the server's console, vncviewer is again able to successfully
connect. This creates a roadblock when there is a need to remotely reboot
the server and then proceed with additional remote work on it. I would be
grateful for any suggested configuration changes that would correct this. If
this is a known limitation of VNC, I would appreciate knowing that as well.
Unfortunately I can't find any related info in the FAQ or the list archives.
Thanks for your help. Jeff Spain.
