I'm having trouble getting my installation of vnc to initialise
correctly on Solaris 8

The log reports:
Xlib: connection to "unix:1.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
xsetroot: unable to open disAUDIT: Mon May 7 14:25:22 2001: 9Xlib:

while I made suggested changes to th.vnc/xstartup
#!/bin/tcsh

setenv DISPLAY unix:1.0

# xrdb /export/home/vnc/vnc_sun4_sosV_5.5/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey
xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
/usr/dt/bin/dtwm &

...I still see the entries in the log above.....very frustrating
