Thanks for the explaination. I used the tight-encoding patch, and didn't
realize that -compresslevel and -quality weren't part of the standard
source.
I just checked the source, and it looks like both parameters take values
between 0 and 9. I'll play with them a bit to see where the tradeoffs are.
