Exactly, that is the setup. Thank you for checking this on your machine. Let
me correct one thing: I am using konsole from KDE not the xterm. I just
tried xterm and could successfully reverse connect. I did not realize that it was
konsole in the first place. So I have to find the difference between konsole
and xterm... maybe a configuration file that I oversaw? I am really
wondering what it could be. Since I am using root and the only thing that counts
besides that, as I suppose, is the argument for the display.
On the other hand, it looks as if Xvnc could not connect to its X server!
Isn't it vncconnect telling Xvnc to connect to the X server on local display 1
which denies connection?
