Hi! A few weeks ago Rasmus Emil Mxller described how to use a software tunnel through http to access a VNC-server outside a firewall. The httptunnmel works fine, but one problem came up: The httptunnel-server should run on the same machine as the VNC-server, but this is not possible, because VNC does not allow incoming connections fom the local machine. It works only if the httptunnel-server runs on another machine. I tryed to assign more IP-Adresses to the VNC-server, but this was without success: the VNC-server listens always on all available local IP-adresses. Any hints or workarounds for this problem? regards Gerhard --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message with the line: unsubscribe vnc-list to [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
