>it don't work any differently on my G3 beige 266 running 8.5.1
There is a proper fix in my internal version of the VNC Server, which
fortunately I brought with me to Albuquerque (which is where I spending the
holiday with friends). I might yet be able to make a new release before
Xmas! My fix doesn't involve patching anything extra - it just inserts a
pause of 5 ticks before every mouse-up or mouse-down event to defeat the
debouncing code.
There is still no proper error reporting or logging in the Server (which I
had planned to put in but haven't had time to, yet). What I am working on
right now is a reshuffle of the vncPatches to make it more tolerant to
version changes - when that is finished I'll release alpha-3.
Note that alpha-3 will be incompatible with current releases of
vncPatches68k - I'll send Adrian the new globals struct layout so that he
can produce a version which will be compatible with the next few releases.
