Assuming you are using a peecee with windozz XP below is a sample to follow to complete set up. Aslo assuming you have a router on each end. Both of you need to complete the set up process for the hardware - allow through the firewall (assuming windowzz or zone alarm) and configure the routers (this example assume linksys).
Starting out turn off the firewall until connected, then configure firewall. See example below: Hi Dale, Many thanks for your email. On the router (for other computer 192.168.0.xx) set up port forwarding to port 5900 and on the coputer set vnc to use diplay 0. Should now work.
