One big trap that most new users fall into is the confusion between "User mode" VNC server and "Service mode" VNC server. They would set password in one mode and launch the server in another mode and thus thought the server's not accepting password. The only solution to this is "pay attention to what we read". > My question though is regarding a strange anomoly I noticed when my son > plays video on his WinXP machine. I always get a black area instead of the video, but I don't care much. You have to know that VNC wasn't designed to serve video on the net. ---------- Free version Zoner Photo Studio 9 - http://www.zps9.com/ _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list VNC-List@realvnc.com To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
