I knew the local rendering option, it's similar to the little square. But I don't want only the local cursor, I want the remote cursor, that gives information on where the cursor is, and is able to change depending on the item it's positioned on (for example, arrow cursor on window borders, etc). Thank you for your suggestion.

Go to Misc tab, there's the "Render cursor locally" option. This option is enabled by default. If yours is disabled, enable it to see if your problem is solved. usr876 u wrote: > Hi again, > > I see nobody has replied after a month. > > Anyone have a comment on this problem? I've also browsed the VNC mail list, and the only possible cause I've found is explained in this mail: > > http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/2003-September/040897.html > > In the mail, Karl explains that the remote cursor won't be shown if the remote machine has no physical mouse connected. My remote machine has no mouse connected (it's a server), so probably I have the same problem he has. > > If I reinstall 3.3.7 (and uninstall 4.1.2), then the remote cursor re-appears. If I install 4.0 (and uninstall 3.3.7), then the remote cursor re-disappears. So it's probably a bug in version 4.x.x. > > I'm using vncviewer 4.1.2 as client all the time. > > Any suggestion or experience or link on this problem? > > > Thanks > ---------- Free version Zoner Photo Studio 9 - http://www.zps9.com/ _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list VNC-List@realvnc.com To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list _____________________________________________________________________________ _______ Si un Mejor Amante del Cine ?Quieres saber csmo? !Deja que otras personas te ayuden! http://advision.webevents.yahoo.com/reto/entretenimiento.html _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list VNC-List@realvnc.com To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
