Hi Keith, The VNC package bundled with RedHat distributions is a custom build of VNC Free Edition with some RedHat-specific patches applied. You could try replacing it with the standard VNC Free Edition binaries - if both builds are affected then it may be an X server issue, or possibly a bug common to both. In our experience, some specific X server graphics card drivers don't support "get image" calls to grab parts of the screen properly, which can lead to display corruption if the vnc.so module is used with them.
