Free VNC has the "security risk" that anyone can access it if they know the name/ip address of the server and know/can guess the password. What you really need, as I said previously, is either *pay* for the commercial VNC or use some other sort of VPN app to create an encrypted tunnel. Personally, I use SSH to create an encrypted tunnel and then run VNC over/through the SSH tunnel. Solves the problem for me.
