I've had a *real* problem, coming from a Linux background, of accepting
that limitation on Windows. On Linux, I never had to pay for the OS,
and can have multiple logins from different locations with no problem.
When I was testing the remote login on WinXP with a friend, he was
logged in and had changed the settings. He said he was ready and I
logged in, and *snap*, his session was gone, with all his open apps and
stuff. He wasn't given a chance to log out at all. It just close
everything and logged him off so I could log on. We found out later
that XP, which you *pay* for, allows only one user at a time, no matter
what. I was rather shocked to find that out.
