What do you mean by low bandwidth?  When connecting to our customer we use VNC 
and NX either over ISDN (64kbit/sec) or over ADSL (max. upstream data rates: 
128kbit/sec or 192kbit/sec).  In both cases, NX is much faster than VNC.
