Hello, here is the situation. I just downloaded and am using RealVNC to
connect SUCCESSFULLY to my computers in my wireless home network (when we
are both behind the firewall of my router). My dad lives in North Carolina,
and I usually try to walk him thru computer issues over the phone (usually
adding to the confusion). I thought RealVNC would be a great tool to help me
support him, while at the same time, help him to learn along with me by
watching what was happening on his screen in real time. I had him load
Free RealVNC (full install) on his computer, had him run the REALVNC server,
and I cannot connect. I have read thru the FAQ and troubleshooting, and they
do not seem to be specific enough to help me successfully handle this. Here
is what he has on his computer in North Carolina.:
