"Proxy server" generally means you will not get this working. > I have gone through GOTOMYVNC.COM and the results came back as > such > ================================================= > Checking you out at IP address "xx.xxx.xxx.139"... > xx.xxx.xxx.139 is accepting connections on Display 0 (TCP port 5900). Yes, you need to give the port number (which would be 5800, not 5900). Some NAT devices may not do port forwarding from inside the lan, try from a machine on the internet side. > I'm assuming that when I do the GOTOMYVNC and get the result as > such, > it means I can connect to my computer via the router. Is my syntax > incorrect > or am I missing something somewhere? GOTOMYVNC only checks the RFB port (default the 5900-5910 range, IIRC), not the HTTP port for serving the java applet (5800+display number). In order to use the java applet you need both ports open (5800,5900 or 5801,5901, etc). -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
