We stopped all VNC services, removed the VNC service (Programs -> RealVNC ->
VNC
Server -> Unregister VNC server service), removed all the VNC entries from
the
registry.  Rebooted, installed vnc 3.3.7 and during installation we were not
prompt to set a password (?).
If we wanted to start the vnc system service, we got the error "acces denied
..".
Again we have all rights, we are .. and are logged in as administrator.

Any suggestions ???

Change this back, it is unneeded.

That is what the servicehelper provides.

Because it is not running as a service.

Stop any VNC services, remove the VNC service (Programs -> RealVNC -> VNC
Server -> Unregister VNC server service), remove VNC entries from the
registry (see http://www.realvnc.com/winvnc.html#4 as a reference)  Make
sure you get the "Current User" settings, too. Reinstall the VNC service
(Programs -> RealVNC -> VNC Server -> Register VNC server service).  Start
the VNC service and you should be prompted for the password.
