I've got the following problem: There is a vncserver for Linux on one server and a vnc-client for Windows on a workstation. Everything is going fine. Only when I try to start a game like SimCity 3000 or HeroesIII for linux and want it to be displayed by the vnc-client I only get the message to look for the DISPLAY variable. The DISPLAY variable has (depending on which server I use) ":1.0" or something like that. starting xterm an xclock is no problem. What is going wrong? Help needed asap because the game was a present that can't be seen now :-(
