Personally, I think Ultr@VNC is not just "another vnc clone", as it adds
significant speed to the Real/AT&T/Tight WinVNC server, and some decent
(and well overdue) features like intregrated file transfer.

If anything the comment about "another vnc clone" is misleading, as it is
in fact the merging of 2 existing VNC projects into 1 common project, so
there are now LESS VNC flavours (flavours is a better work, as a clone
means an exaxt copy, which Ultr@VNC is not).

I might quickly add that, the filetranfer component in particular is very
welcome, as most windows platforms (unlike *nix) do not have a ftp server
installed by default, and adding one, although possible, is another added
pain, especially if you want to send a 5k configuration script or
something... And using VNC's existing data connection, means less hassles
with firewalls etc... If VNC works, so will VNC with file transfer!!! I
hope a *nixVNC server implements this, so the *nix vnc users see what they
are missing!! :-)

I think Sam and Rudi have done an excellent job, and certainly should not
be flamed..

Just my 2 Euros worth..
