I'm using the same router with a cable modem in the UK and have
disabled DHCP, allocating fixed IP addresses to each machine on the home
network. Works fine! Duc No-ip working on another machine on the
network giving out router's network IP address. Presumably with DHCP
enabled the internal network IP address of the machine running VNC could
change, which would make the port forwarding useless.
Any help or suggestions from you will be greatly appreciated.
