It could be that the OS isn't the problem. It may be the app. I wouldn't
immediately blame Apple. If any app doesn't work as it should after an
update, the first thing I would do would be to notify the app developer,
giving as much detail as you can. This will hopefully give the developer a
clue as to the cause of the problem.

I thought MS were bad at backward compatibility, but it is getting bad in
iOs now, even by Apple themselves. an app using the enhancements of a new
OS version is good, but not at the price of breaking that which worked on
the previous ones surely. Disappointing as all this is getting, there's
nowhere to go as I don't think the alternatives are any better, or
certainly not reported as such.
Sigh! R.

Subject: To All iOS 7.12 Users!!! DO NOT UPDATE MONEY READER APP
Hello Everyone,
I just updated the money reader on my 5 S running iOS 7.12 and it crashes at
startup. Even after deleting the app and re-downloading, it does not work.
Fortunately, I always keep backups so was able to install the previous
version.
More and more it feels as though we who choose not to update to iOS 8.x are
being forgotten.
Does anyone know how to contact LookTel?
