Hi Andrew,
Is your Bose speaker a true Airplay speaker or is it a Bluetooth speaker? Bluetooth speakers also show up in Airplay, but of course Voiceover will go to the Bluetooth speaker along with anything else. If your Bose is a true Airplay speaker you should be able to connect it to your WiFi network and it should work even if bluetooth on the phone is turned off. I eventually found the airplay control in the control centre when my speaker was paired but it took some doing. The speaker I'm using is one of the Bose Soundlink wireless speakers. The only problem is, with airplay devices that are connected to your wifi network I gather Voiceover comes through the phone leaving the audio to come through the airplay device. However I've not been able to achieve this with my Bose. Do you know whether this is possible? Many thanks, Andrew From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel Sent: 09 October 2014 02:57 To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: Airplay Hi Andrew, I find that the easiest and quickest way to find the Airplay button in the Control Centre is to touch the bottom left of the phone. If you are on the Flashlight button you just have to swipe left once from it. If this doesn't put you on the Airplay button then as Ben said it is likely your Airplay device is not recognized. Rebooting the phone as well as your Airplay device might help. Just out of curiocity, which Airplay device is it? I am trying to use airplay to listen to music on an airplay device and can't for the life of me work out how to do this. Please can someone explain? I was reading some instructions on the web that told me to turn airplay on in the control centre but I can't even find it! Thanks for any help that is forthcoming.
