That's true that you can find apps with hearing aide by doing a search. Be careful though since not all are or will be Voiceover accessible. I found one such app a couple of years ago. I downloaded it but quickly discovered that I could not use it. Turns out there were different colors on the screen and one needed to tap a color to raise or lower the volume in the app. The app acted like a hearing aide, so it could get the audio from the phone's mike and then adjust the volume from the screen. Since I wasn't able to use the app due to the colors on the screen and VoiceOver not working, I deleted the app. I dont' recall it's name to tell others about it. If you find hearing aide apps that work as advertised and are acessible, due post them here. I think many people would be interested.
