I use Around Me all the time. It’s Voiceover accessible. >From the description, it looks like both apps do more or less the same thing.

I have of course heard of blind square & Ariadne gps, would you recommend one of those? Something else? I thought I'd look at around me and walk score, but I'm not sure these apps will do what I want. I'd love to use the app and pretend I'm on Front street walking in the town. If you know what I mean.
