Hi Eric, Before I do the hard reset using Hone and Power buttons together, I would first try to clear the app switcher, then turn the phone off, wait for 30 seconds and turn it back on. If this doesn't help I would next once again clear the app switcher, then go to Settings, General, Reset (at the very bottom) and select to "Reset Network Settings". This will reset all your radios and reboot the phone as well.

A soft reset is accomplished with pressing the sleep/wake button a few times. A hard reset is accomplished by pressing and holdin both home and sleep/wake for at least ten seconds.
