Once again, sorry, I am running iOS 7 Beta and here they updated it to Outlook.com which is the brand Microsoft is now pushing. Go ahead and use the Hotmail account type, it's the same thing. Jim, Do you mean a Outlook.com account (what used to be first Hotmail, then Windows Live)? If so, just tap on Add, then choose Outlook.com as the account type, enter your email address and password and the rest should be more or less automatic.
