I have been turning mine on with my hearing aid. I'll try the double tap next time to see if it is a problem.
I am beginning to think that I should go to iOS 26 school. I went to send a text message, but where, oh where was Compose - alas, at the bottom right of the screen? I guess that makes sense to someone.
