I think these are instructions for Outlook on the computer, but I believe the question was regarding how to do this on the iPhone. If you have a Gmail account and it is set up as an IMAP account on both your computer and iPhone, you should in fact see exactly the same email on both devices because your mail is kept on Gmail’s servers and Outlook on your computer and the Mail app on the iPhone simply sync a copy of what is on the server to the device.
