It works as accurately as the GPS signal is at that moment.
None of our devices have any better accuracy than about 10 meters in the ideal 
circumstances.  That is, not around tall buildings, clear sky, and a good 
amount of satellites in range.
Since the Earth and the satellites are constantly moving, your accuracy can 
change very quickly.

Yes I do this all the time it's not always completely accurate but I'll give 
you a basic idea of where you are. For instance, I have had it tell me that I 
am at 4717 spruce Road when I was actually at 4719 Spruce Rd., so it's not 
completely exact but it does work to appoint
